Erin Mykleby Does Her Best for Athletics

Erin MyklebyOne example of Iowa-born Erin Mykleby tremendous accomplishments working in the field of college athletics came in 2013, when she coordinated the "ball kids" for two rounds of the NCAA Women's Division I basketball tournament that year. She also spent time as a summer intern for USA Track & Field in Indianapolis, where she dealt with the areas of High Performance and Coaching Education. However that is a whole lot more.
Erin Mykleby now has an impressive array of athletics experience to draw from as she operates from her current position as Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing, Fundraising, and Community Engagement for St. Leo's University.

In her position at St. Leo’s, Erin Mykleby serves as the Athletics Department's liaison and handles promotions for the department, as well. Prior to joining St. Leo's, Erin spent time working with the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), where she served as liaison to a number of NACDA affiliate organizations, including the Division II Athletics Directors Association (D2ADA) and the Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association (D2CCA).

Erin Mykleby also has considerable education in her background, graduating with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Luther College in 2012, and getting a Master’s degree in sports management from the University of Iowa in December 2014. While at Luther College, Erin was a member of the women's swimming and diving team, where she was honored as a Honorable Mention Academic All-American in 2011. She also minored in Communication Studies. At Iowa, Erin Mykleby also served as a graduate intern for the athletic department in event management, where she managed athletic events, championships and other key athletic events.
